Kumaran Asan National Cultural Festival to Start from Friday

Kumaran Asan National Cultural Festival a five day festival will be starting from Friday here in Thiruvananthapuram. Seminars on the youth, the media and higher education and a poets’ meet will be among the main attractions of this festival . Chairman of the Kumaran Asan National Institute of Culture N. Mukundan told a press conference here recently that Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor would hoist the festival flag on Thursday and would also inaugurate the cultural and literary competitions to be held as part of the festival.
V.S. Achuthanandan will be inaugurating the valedictory of the festival on December 31st evening.
