R Balakrishnan Pillai Wants His Son in Cabinet

Kerala Congress (B) leader R Balakrishnan Pillai today reiterated his party’s demand for re-inducting his son K B Ganesh Kumar into the cabinet and expressed hope that Kumar would be sworn in as minister as early as possible.
He told in a press meet here that he has handed ove a letter to Kerala CM Oomen Chandy demanding his son’s re-induction into the cabinet, saying there was no case pending against his son.Referring to the case, Pillai said all issues connected with the domestic affair had been settled and the couple has got divorce. “The moral ground in which he resigned did not exist now,” Pillai added.
On UDF offer of chairmanship of newly formed Forward Communities Commission with cabinet rank, Pillai said he was yet to take a decision whether to accept it or not.Pillai said KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala should join the UDF Ministry as he proved his leadership quality by successfully leading the UDF and Congress in the last civic, Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
